Interacting with stakeholders..!

We have started taking initial steps towards our goal. In initial few months of our journey, we have been interacting with various stakeholders including the community, the public system, the public health institutions and our peers. We are building upon our previous experience, support and guidance from the collaborators. We have began following services as result of this interactions..!!!

Community Clinical Services..!

A team of specialist doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab technician, and other support team provide care in these clinics. The team includes one senior paediatrician, one neurologist, one internal medicine physician, one anaesthetist as well as pain and palliative care specialist, and three family medicine specialists. We are providing these services through three Community clinics cum resource centers namely Amgasi(Nawapara), Biniya(Argoti), and Kuniya(Mainapat). We also reach to difficult to reach populations through out reach clinics…

Community Health Services ..!

We have recruited Swasthya Sangis (which translates to “Friends for Health”) in 33 villages in the Lakhanpur and Udaipur blocks, whose primary responsibility is to provide treatments for minor ailments at village level, refer patients to clinics of Sangwari where needed, follow up selected patients, engage with community, collect information on vital events such as births and deaths and generate health awareness. Pain relief and palliative care services ..!

We offers this specialist care for “pain and palliative care” in collaboration with the public health system at the Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) and the District Hospital at Ambikapur. These services are provided at our community clinics. We also provide home visits to them who can’t make to facility for ensuring continuum of pain and palliative care…

Response to Pandemic of COVID..!

 In that emergency situation Sangwari decided to respond in a systematic way. We provided intensive care unit services at Medical college, Ambikapur at tertiary level. We also put efforts to build network with other organisations who are working in different aspects of the covid response, ensure community participation through Home based Covid case management and engaged in Chhattisgarh state , Surguja divisional level advocacy…
